Cast of Characters:

Tarah - That would be me.  Author of this blog, wife to "Jay", mom to "Duck" & "Goose".  Pet to one sassy tortoiseshell cat.  Full time worker bee.  Lover of wine, sushi, reading, fashion, shopping, pretending to be a professional chef, DVRs, and being outside on beautiful days.  Not so much a lover of doing dishes, ants, our tile kitchen counter tops, and alarm clocks.

Jay - Husband, dad to "Duck" & "Goose", tolerates said cat because she came in a package deal with me.  Huge outdoors man, loves to hunt & fish & generally anything that will keep him outside & busy.  Loves things where they belong, hates my messes I leave behind.

Duck - Oldest son, sometimes too smart for his own good.  Loves construction trucks, & garbage trucks.  Loves to dig in the dirt, anything to do with Cars or Mater, fuzz, and yellow M&M's.  Hates loud noises, his younger brother taking his things, waking up before he's ready.

Goose - Youngest son, sometimes too charming for his own good.  Loves pretty much everything Duck does at this point & "iderman!" (Spiderman).  Loves to be outside, chase the cat, point out every bird & duck he sees, snacks, and milk cuppies.  Hates having his face wiped, his teeth brushed and getting out of the shower/bath when it's over.
